START is Europe's biggest student-run network for entrepreneurship and technology. Since 1996, we've grown into a global community with 22+ chapters across cities like St. Gallen, Munich, Barcelona, London, Helsinki and Bogotá.
Being part of START means direct access to Europe's startup and VC ecosystem. Our alumni have gone on to Y Combinator, built unicorns, and raised millions with top funds. Once a year, the whole network comes together at START Summit, the world's largest student-run entrepreneurship conference (7,000+ visitors, partners like Google, Microsoft, and Forbes.)
Our goal is simple: we create a space where motivated students from different scientific backgrounds can come together to learn and collaborate. We connect you with startups, investors, and Europe's wider entrepreneurial ecosystem through events with founders and VCs, hackathons, and exclusive workshops. We believe that Innsbruck's students hold many great ideas for even greater problems... let's try to solve them and build something with real impact!
In our applications, we're looking for real curiosity, drive, and ideas. Having a good CV or good grades does not matter to us. Skip the buzzwords, show us your authenticity.
