One Shot for Nerds with Dice’s Pride Event
Game System: Call of Cthulhu
Genre: Investigative horror
Content Warnings: Grief, madness, time travel
You're trapped in a burning house... and that's the least of your problems. To escape, you'll need to piece together a hundred-year-old story of grief, loss, madness, and time travel. Welcome to the Arkham Fire Department. Grab your gear, buddy up, and try not to get lost in the smoke. "Arkham Fire" is my first original scenario for Call of Cthulhu, available (and a Silver best seller!) on DriveThruRPG.
GM Steve (he/him): I play and run all kinds of styles and genres. Broadly speaking, though, I love exploring characters, building on each other's ideas, and working together to build a deep, rich, satisfying story. I don't aim for "scary" as much as creepy and weird, like the best of the Twilight Zone.
I have read all above information. Other than listed conflicts. I shouldn't any conflicts such as previously scheduled events that would prevent me from attending. I understand that Nerds With Dice doesn't require me to attend in the event of an emergency. Or at the sacrifice of my well being in anyway. (This includes but is not limited to my mental health, physical health, and comfort.)

Storytellers are responsible for:
• Table safety including:
-gathering and updating safety & consent forms,
-confirming red/yellow procedures before, during, and after each session
-ensuring communication throughout game and during aftercare/through the week
• Being prepared before each session, including maps, session notes, character information etc.
• Arrive at call time 30 minutes prior to live stream for tech & connection building
• If the ST must miss a session giving at least a week's notice to players and channel so that other programming can be arranged. (Obviously emergencies happen, and your mental health and safety are primary concerns to us!)
• Checking in with players throughout the week for the length campaign to ensure that everyone is doing well and to nurture a safe relationship anchor for uncomfortable conversations.
• Bringing concerns to the table without throwing players under the bus or pitting players against each other.
* Whenever possible, ST are NOT responsible to produce or moderate their own stream- allowing them to focus on the game and players
