Relevant is a purpose-driven venture studio working across Europe and East Africa, with teams in Vienna and Kampala. We develop, pilot and scale enterprise and investment solutions for underserved people, places and topics, for an economy where impact creates business and business creates impact.

About Heartcore Ventures 2.0

Heartcore Ventures 2.0 is for ventures that want more than outside support. We work with purpose-driven companies that have found product–market fit and are ready to scale, and we build the business with their founders, side by side. For 6 to 24 months, we grow the venture and get it investment-ready in parallel.

About the network

This is not a single open position. We are building a network of Entrepreneurs in Residence and, as ventures join Heartcore Ventures 2.0, we match each one with an EiR whose experience fits. As an EiR, you are embedded in the venture day to day and work alongside the founders as a co-entrepreneur. Once the venture closes its funding round, you move on, and Relevant stays on as advisor.

What an Entrepreneur in Residence does - Re-tests the business model and assumptions with the founders, and shapes the go-to-market strategy - Scales the product and prepares operations for growth - Works with our team to prepare the funding round and engage investors while the business keeps growing - Hands over a stronger, investment-ready venture when the round closes

Who we are looking for

- You have founded or co-founded a venture before, whether it grew, exited or did not work out. - You know what it takes to sell, build a team, manage cash and raise money. - You have experience or a presence in Europe, East Africa, or both. - You care about ventures that create value for underserved people, places or topics. - You are comfortable working hands-on, often with small teams and limited resources

- A role at the centre of a venture, not on the sidelines - Senior support from day one in strategy, finance, go-to-market, legal and governance - Access to Relevant’s network of funders, partners and investors - Compensation is agreed per venture and linked to its growth

What happens after you apply

We read every application ourselves, and we invite promising profiles to a first conversation to get to know you and your experience. When a venture fits your experience, we contact you to explore working together. This can take time, as we match EiRs to ventures as engagements start. The form takes about 15 minutes.
