Hawaiʻi Women Artists Collective: One-Time Member Intake & RSVP Confirmation

Welcome to the Hawaiʻi Women Artists Collective!

We are so glad you’re here. You only need to complete this intake form once. Once you are in the collective system, and attend an in person event, your future RSVPs are automatically confirmed.

If this is your very first gathering with us, please complete this 2-minute form within 24 hours of your RSVP to lock in your spot so we don't accidentally release it to the waitlist.

Our Collective Ethos: Shared Labor & Care

HWAC is a community project of Reciprocal Futures that operates on mutual support, not isolated labor or host burnout. To ensure our gatherings remain sustainable:

The Policy: Every collective event requires a fully filled volunteer sheet (Set-Up, Welcome/Check-In, and Clean-Up).

The Boundary: If volunteer shifts are not filled 7 days before an event, the gathering is canceled. No exceptions.

Thank you for helping us protect and co-create this space.

Let's start with your personal details

Artistic Focus

HWAC is a cooperative collective driven by mutual support. Every participating artist is required to sign up for at least one volunteer shift per event (e.g., load-in/set-up, check-in, staffing, or clean-up/load-out).

Our Shared Values & Community Agreements

Reciprocity Over Extraction: We show up for each other's practices. We celebrate, purchase from, mentor, and share resources with fellow island makers rather than competing.

Process Over Polish: You don't need a finished portfolio or commercial success to belong here. We honor creative rhythm, nervous system capacity, and authentic exploration outside the hustle economy.

Shared Care & Respect: We co-create a safe, trauma-informed space. We care for the physical studio, honor boundaries, and share the collective labor of making these gatherings possible.
