Senior Investment Sales Analyst

Application Deadline: May 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM EST
FULL TIME
AUGUSTA, GA

Palomar is a commercial real estate investment sales firm. We work with owners and investors on the acquisition and disposition of retail and multi-family assets, and our team handles everything from deal origination to close.

This position exists because we need someone who wants to own the analytical side of the business, including underwriting, market analysis, financial reporting, and deal preparation, and who sees that work as a career, not a stepping stone to becoming a broker. You'll sit at the center of how our deals get presented, working directly with our brokers, deal desk, marketing team, and clients.

You'll also help onboard and train new analysts and entry-level associates as Palomar continues to scale, that means your ability to clearly explain your process and mentor to others is as central to your success as the work itself.

WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

- Underwriting retail and multi-family investment properties using the ARGUS platform (full training provided)
- Building and maintaining financial models; income statements, P&Ls, cash flow projections, and investment return analyses
- Compiling or managing the preparation of comparable property reports based on current market conditions and historical data
- Preparing market trend reports tracking retail and multi-family sales values on a year-over-year and quarter-over-quarter basis
- Supporting deal launches with property-level analysis, market comparables, and marketing collateral including Offering Memorandums and Broker Opinion of Value packages
- Collaborating with the marketing team and deal desk to prepare materials for active listings and listing campaigns
- Monitoring debt markets, insurance market conditions, and economic indicators relevant to Palomar's deal pipeline
- Maintaining data accuracy, consistency, and reporting within our CRM platform
- Training and supporting incoming analysts, particularly those new to the industry
- Assisting with forecasting, budgeting, and scheduling, and historical Palomar transaction analysis for sales initiatives and self-scouting
- Representing Palomar at client events and industry functions throughout the year

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related field
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Strong financial literacy; comfortable reading and building income statements, P&Ls, and investment models
- Proficiency in Excel; financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting
- Exposure to capital markets, debt markets, or investment analysis
- Comfortable in a client-facing environment
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
- Own It, Creativity, Relationships Matter: Take full accountability, apply innovative thinking to solve challenges, and foster strong, trust-based relationships to deliver meaningful results
NICE TO HAVE:
- Background in accounting, public accounting, or holds a CPA
- Experience with CRM platforms (i.e. HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
- Familiarity with commercial real estate concepts or terminology
- Experience with ARGUS or similar underwriting software
