Unheated pools are usually too cold for lessons from mid October through April.
How does your instructor get to the pool without going through the house? Include gate location, any codes, and where to park. Instructors do not walk through clients' homes.
- Cancellations with at least 24 hours' notice move to the end of your package. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice count as a taught lesson.
- If your instructor cancels or your swimmer is sick, the lesson moves to the end of your package.
- Your instructor makes the weather call, usually no more than an hour before the lesson. Weather cancellations move to the end of your package.
- Payment is due at the time of booking. Packages never expire. No refunds; lessons are fully transferable. Your trial lesson counts toward your package.
- Late arrivals still receive a lesson, but it ends at the scheduled time. Your instructor may start the clock later if it won't affect the next client.
- We try to keep the same instructor for each student, but it isn't guaranteed. If your instructor is unavailable, we'll send a substitute, move the lesson to the end of your package, or reschedule it.
- If a lesson location charges for parking or pool entry, the parent or caregiver reimburses the instructor at each lesson.
- Outdoor lessons take place when the air temperature is above 60°F and the pool is at least 86°F (ideally 90°F).
- Any unused lessons stay on your account as credit for future swim lessons.
