Thank you for your interest in CoProjects. Since its launch in 2019, the program has supported over $13.5M in collaborative research across the UCSF community. For this cycle, we anticipate funding one full study and one seed project. The process has been updated to include a Letter of Intent (LOI) stage prior to full applications. This form serves as the LOI and is intended to be a quick, high-level overview of your proposed research study.
Projects must be grounded in immunology and designed to generate data of broad value to the ImmunoX research community. All funded studies are expected to contribute their datasets to the ImmunoX Data Library to support shared discovery and collaborative science.
Please fill out this initial proposal form by Friday, January 30th at 6 pm PST.
In February 2026, the ImmunoX Research Committee will review all initial proposals. Selected applicants will then be invited to submit a CoProjects application. Please review the RFA timeline below:
Please reference the
CoProjects guidelines, if needed. For additional questions, reach out to Vincent Chan (
[email protected]) and Corey Rathe (
[email protected]).
It is highly encouraged to reach out to reach out to CoLabs Directors to discuss your project in advance.
Please list any Co-PIs or researchers involved in this project. Additionally, please describe the key expertise that the investigator team brings to the project.
Note: it is not necessary to describe the expertise of CoLabs members who will collaborate.
Note: At least one PI must be an ImmunoX member in good standing.
Are samples already banked or collected? If not, the ImmunoX Office of Collaborative Research (OCR) can facilitate a clinical pipeline to collect samples. Please note if this is needed.
Thank you for your interest in CoProjects! Our team will reach out shortly to confirm your submission has been received. If you do not receive a confirmation email within 48 hours of submitting, please reach out to Corey Rathe (
[email protected]).
We will reach out again by mid-February to notify you of next steps. We look forward to exploring the exciting discoveries that your research may offer and its impact on the ImmunoX Community.
