A 5-minute survey for photographers / Une enquête de 5 minutes pour les photographes
I'm researching how photographers manage large photo libraries — what works, what doesn't, and what takes too much time.
No sales pitch. No right or wrong answers. Just your experience.
⏱️ About 5 minutes

⏱️ Environ 5 minutes
The concept I'm researching is called ClickVault.
It's a local-first photo-management system for large personal photo libraries, designed to work with the files you already own.
Imagine a photo-management application that works on top of your existing storage.
Your original RAW/JPEG files stay where they are.
The application creates a fast catalogue and lightweight previews around them.
It could:
⚡ Browse huge libraries quickly
🔎 Search your entire collection
👤 Find people and subjects
📍 Search locations
🔁 Detect duplicates and similar photos
🤖 Help select your best photos
🔒 Process locally and privately
🗄️ Work with external drives and NAS
Goal:
Make a large photo library feel as easy to browse as a small one — without taking control of your original files.
