Blue North Spring 2027 Internship Application

Blue North is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and KY innovation hub that supports high growth startups in the Northern Kentucky region. SparkHaus is under our umbrella, operating as our headquarters and entrepreneurial co-working space for the organizations and founders we support. We support startups, host events, and are deeply embedded in the community in order to help this region and it's future leaders grow.
With only 4 full time team members we are a small but mighty team. We are looking for talented interns to join us for the spring semester (January-May 2027). This opportunity is a good fit for you if you are passionate about entrepreneurship, comfortable engaging with new people, ready to own real projects, and prepared to learn and grow.
Alongside day to day work, all Blue North interns are expected to complete our onboarding and professional development program. You will report to work in person at SparkHaus (727 Madison Ave., Suite 6, Covington, KY 41011) and we will work with you to set a schedule that compliments your school commitments. Our goal is that this experience is meaningful, a chance to build real things, and sets you up for success in whatever you do next. Those who are highly successful will have the opportunity to discuss extending the position through the following summer.
This application gets your foot in the door. There are several specializations that you can apply for, each with their own questions below depending on what you select. You are welcome to select more than one. If you are a good fit we will initiate a first-round interview and may request additional exercises to get a feel for your capabilities. If you move forward you can expect follow up interviews where you will meet additional team members. Any questions about the hiring process can be directed to our Program Manager at annika@bluenorthky.com.
After submission we strongly recommend you check out our upcoming events. Getting involved in the startup community, if you're not already, goes a long way in showing us that you fit into the ecosystem.
