ChaplainSee Institute prepares clinically trained chaplains to serve within and beyond traditional institutions. Our Clinical Pastoral Education program follows the Anton T. Boisen model and the standards of our affiliated training bodies.
A standard CPE unit consists of 400 hours:
- Approximately 300 hours of supervised clinical practice
- Approximately 100 hours of structured education, individual and group supervision, peer learning, theological reflection, written assignments and personal formation
Admission is based on a completed application, all required supporting materials, a confidential faith-leader referral and an admissions interview.
A $50 USD nonrefundable application fee is required.
