Advisor. is an independent publication covering what matters in Black fashion — in print and digital, worldwide. Once a year, we spotlight 30 people redefining Black fashion internationally: designers, stylists, buyers, art directors, brand founders, casting directors, and other industry operators whose work is undeniable, whether or not the mainstream has caught up yet.
This list is open to Black fashion professionals everywhere — U.S.-based and international. Nominees should have at least one year of consistent, active work in their discipline. No mainstream cosign required — in fact, we're looking for people who haven't gotten it yet.
Nominations are open through August 15, 2026. Selected honorees will be confirmed by September 1, 2026, and revealed on our September 30, 2026 cover as part of Advisor.'s September 2026 issue.
