Journey Fees & Payment

The Istanbul Design Journey takes place from 7–9 October 2026 and is priced at £1,350 per person.

A deposit of £500 is required to reserve your place. The remaining balance of £850 is due by 1 September 2026. Bookings made after this date must be paid in full.

The fee includes the three-day curator-led programme, scheduled visits and encounters, private minibus transportation between official programme locations, and three hosted lunches. Alcoholic beverages are not included.

Two optional Designeers dinners will also be offered at £75 per dinner or £140 for both evenings. This includes a curated set menu, water and service. Alcohol and additional drinks may be ordered and paid for directly at the restaurant.

Accommodation, travel to and from Istanbul, airport transfers, flights, visas, travel insurance and personal expenses are not included.

A shortlist of recommended design-led hotels will be shared with confirmed participants for convenience. Guests are responsible for making and paying for their accommodation arrangements directly.

The journey requires a minimum of ten participants and will be confirmed by 14 August 2026. We recommend waiting for this confirmation before making non-refundable flight or accommodation bookings. All payments are subject to the cancellation terms provided in the registration form.

Cancellation Policy

By submitting this application, I acknowledge and agree that:

All cancellations must be submitted to Designeers in writing.

Before the balance-payment deadline: the deposit will be refunded, less a £100 reservation and administration fee.
After the balance-payment deadline but more than 14 days before the journey: 50% of the total journey fee will be refunded.
Within 14 days of the journey: the journey fee is non-refundable.

If Designeers is able to fill your cancelled place, we will refund the amount paid, less the £100 administration fee and any non-recoverable supplier costs.

Optional dinner payments are refundable until 14 days before the journey. After that point, they are refundable only if the restaurant refunds Designeers or the dinner place is filled.

If Designeers cancels the journey, all journey and optional-dinner payments made to Designeers will be refunded. Designeers cannot reimburse independently booked flights, accommodation or other personal arrangements.

Registration Terms

The published programme is indicative and may be adjusted if a location, host or activity becomes unavailable. Designeers may substitute an experience with an appropriate alternative of comparable quality and relevance.
Designeers Journeys are intentionally small and curated. Submission of this application does not guarantee a place.
Participation is confirmed only following written acceptance and receipt of the required deposit.
The Istanbul Design Journey is offered as a complete three-day programme. No partial refund will be provided where a participant arrives late, leaves early or chooses not to attend an included visit, activity or lunch. This does not affect participants’ rights where Designeers cannot provide a material part of the programme and no suitable alternative is offered.
Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel to and from Istanbul, accommodation, airport transfers, visas, travel documents and appropriate travel insurance.
Participants must notify Designeers of any dietary or accessibility requirements.
Designeers will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requirements disclosed in advance but cannot guarantee that every third-party location can do so.
