The Workshop is for the writing that has to perform for others. Growing an account, sharpening the voice, building something people want to connect with.
The Discourse is for the writing and thinking done for its own sake. A draft read closely and discussed loudly; an idea taken apart.
The line between them is not fixed, and it isn't yours to police. A session booked to fix how to present your writing for the algorithm can turn into the question of why you're writing at all. You pick the door you walk in. Once we're in the room, the course of discussion is its own.
