Wood Chip Workday @ Lake Solano Park (Saturday, August 8th 9AM-11AM)
Join Putah Creek Council, Solano Resource Conservation District, and Solano County Parks on
Saturday, August 8th from 9AM-11AM
for a volunteer workday at Lake Solano Park!
Our main task will be to spread fresh wood chips circles around young native trees in the day-use area. Wood chips help promote visibility and keep weeds down.
Please wear sturdy, close-toed shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a reusable water bottle.
All necessary equipment, water, and snacks will be provided.
Participants under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
