ISTE+ASCD 2025: Ed3 Volunteers for Portrait of a Teacher in the Age of AI

We're launching a project called The Portrait of a Teacher in the Age of AI to ideate the future of the teacher role as AI becomes ubiquitous. We hope the research and frameworks that emerge from this project will help inform teacher hiring, evaluation, and professional development practices. See more info about the Brain Trust .

We're hosting an installation at ISTE+ASCD where educators will be able to contribute their thoughts about what competencies they will need in this new era. Our Learning Manager, Armine will be facilitating this post-it wall activity on Monday and Tuesday.

We are requesting volunteers to do one or more of the following:

1) Hang out with Armine because she's awesome (former principal and teacher!)

2) Invite teachers passing by the wall to contribute

3) Engage in conversations about the portrait of a teacher (we'll provide a list of questions and Armine will have two mics and a recording device).

4) Take photos and videos of teachers contributing

5) Make sure there are no post-its on the floor
