Come run with us 🏃‍♂️

Hi my friend,
I'm Jelle, and it's my goal to let you find joy in running.
A little about me, in case we haven't yet had the chance to get to know each other better ✍️
My love affair with running started over a decade ago. I moved out of my parents' house, stopped playing soccer, and had lasagna every day. Yes, I was quickly starting to look like a Barbapapa. So I did what most people do: I picked up an old pair of running shoes.
I made all the classic mistakes. I immediately went for 5 km, almost sprinting, immensely out of breath and full of pain in my lungs. My calves were cramping, I could taste iron in the back of my throat. But I made it out alive. And somehow I did it again a few days later. And again, and again, and again... This is almost 1,000 runs ago. Some of those runs were 2 km, many of 'em were 5K's, and the longest one was 146 km (never again... well... maybe)...
Why am I telling you all this? 💬 Well, I made countless mistakes. Got injured twice: The classic shin splints while training for my first marathon. My Achilles injury last year. These injuries would have been avoided if I'd had a coach and a running community 🌱 And what's what I'm here for - to coach you.
To become a better running coach, I completed a course with the Atletiekunie and became certified (ALT2). I went to many run clubs, events, and races to research how I can help people like you become the runners they aspire to be 🫡
Together, we're creating a running community that is:
- Inclusive - Committed - Encouraging
For you, with you! Whether you’re building consistency, getting faster, or training for a race, you’ll fit right in! ☺️ And if you like, I will create a 6-week running plan 🗓️ for you, free of charge. I've created such plans countless times for myself and others, from 5K to 100 miles, so I'm pretty sure your goal will be somewhere in between 😉
