Please upload a photo of your finished quilt square for our digital gallery, coming in spring 2026, ahead of the official public launch in Washington, DC in July 2026.
Photo guidelines:

– Make sure it’s well lit, centered, and in focus
– Submit your image as a .jpg or .png
Once we have a regional coordinator in your area, we will contact you with the address for sending your physical square.
The National Quilt Project is a grassroots effort that will grow in communities across the country. People everywhere will be making quilt squares and hosting local displays to build visibility and momentum.
To make this possible, we need many volunteers and regional coordinators: people who can help bring neighbors together for sew-ins, organize local displays, and connect with the national project.
Regional coordinators will also collect finished quilt squares from their region and prepare a selection to display in Washington, DC for the July 2026 Launch.
This is just the beginning: the National Quilt Project will continue to grow until the final exhibition in Washington, DC in 2030, when all the squares from around the country will be displayed together on the National Mall. We’re looking for a committed network of volunteers to carry the project forward from the 2026 launch to the 2030 final display.
