• putting a face to every username – since aob is an in-person event-based community, we want to make sure everyone who joins is a real person looking to engage meaningfully.
• keeping our community centered on asian experiences – aob is a space created by and for asians, where we can connect over shared experiences, culture, and identity. we just want to make sure that new members align with our mission!
• preventing banned individuals from rejoining – we work hard to maintain a positive and respectful environment.
