1. Relationship
The Artist is an independent contractor and is not an employee, partner, or agent of LSB. Nothing in this agreement creates an employment, partnership, or exclusive representation relationship.
2. Scope
LSB may, from time to time, introduce or secure work opportunities for the Artist with clients or collaborators (“Projects”). The Artist is under no obligation to accept any Project offered by LSB.
3. Commission
LSB will be entitled to a commission on any work, booking, or project that has been introduced, secured, or facilitated by LSB.
The exact commission amount or percentage will be agreed as part of the project fee for each individual Project.
No commission is payable on work the Artist secures independently without involvement from LSB.
4. Payment
LSB will invoice the client directly for the full project fee. Once payment is received, LSB will pay the Artist their agreed share, reflecting any commission as outlined in the specific Project agreement. Payment will be made within [30] days of cleared funds.
5. Ownership & Usage
Unless otherwise agreed in writing for a specific Project, ownership and usage rights of the Artist’s work remain with the Artist until payment is made in full. Any transfer of rights to the client will occur once full payment is received by LSB.
6. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep all client, project, and fee information confidential unless disclosure is required by law or agreed in writing.
7. Liability
The Artist is responsible for their own insurance, taxes, and professional conduct. LSB is not liable for any loss, damage, or claim arising from the Artist’s performance of their work.
8. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
9. Agreement Duration
This Agreement does not constitute long-term representation. It applies only to Projects introduced by LSB and remains valid for any such Projects facilitated during the period of engagement.
