The Voice in Your Head

“You’ve been criticising yourself for years and it hasn’t worked. Try approving of yourself and see what happens.”
- Louise L. Hay
Together, we will try to reckon with some of our most difficult thoughts about ourselves, understand the importance of self-compassion, and root ourselves in a slightly better tomorrow.
What to expect from the session?
- We will explore the idea of self-compassion, why it is important, and what happens when it is scarce.
- We will practice gratitude and appreciation towards the self.
- We will pick up tools that we can use to calm, or ground ourselves when everything seems to be against us.
- We will meet and get to know others who have different, yet similar lives.
Tricks up our sleeve: discussion, theatre exercises, games, art.
Is it for you?
If you are looking for a little bit of respite, some space to breathe, re-evaluate, and relax, this is for you.
If you want to learn how to be kinder to yourself, this is for you.
If you want to not feel so alone, this is for you.
