Baltic Ruby 2025 OSS expo application form

Hi friends!

This is Ali Krynitsky, organizer of Baltic Ruby.

First of all, thank you for everything you do for open-source projects. Your contributions are a crucial part of the tools we use daily and a reflection of the culture and values of our community.

Before asking you to spend a little of your time filling out our form (it's short, but still), I wanted to reach out directly and clarify some participation conditions and opportunities. This will help us avoid any awkward situations later.

Unfortunately, at this stage, we cannot cover travel or accommodation expenses. Hopefully, one day, we’ll grow big and successful enough to do so, but for now, Baltic Ruby is a community-driven, non-profit conference organized by one person and a team of volunteers.

If you're willing to participate at your own expense or with a sponsor’s support, here’s what we can do for you.

Sponsor recognition

If you have a sponsor, we’ll acknowledge their support across our networks and during the event.

Dedicated space at the conference

We’re limited in resources but will do our best to provide the setup you need. Let’s discuss!

Promotion & engagement

We’re happy to support your project through our channels and help drive awareness and engagement. Have ideas? We love creativity and will do our part!

Discounted accommodation

We’re negotiating special rates with our accommodation partners (in previous years, it was a 20-30% discount on hotel stays).

Free ticket & participant package

You’ll receive complimentary access to the conference.

If you’re comfortable with these conditions, please check the box below and proceed with the form.

Thank you for your willingness to participate.

See you in Riga at Baltic Ruby!

Ali Krynitsky

I agree to cover my travel and accommodation expenses.
