Community Volunteer Roles

I am Hakeem, the Community Lead for Friends of Figma Accra.

Friends of Figma Accra has been a small but vibrant community for creatives, designers, developers, managers and dreamers.

Your support has been the heartbeat of the community here in Accra. ❤️

Today, we’re looking for your support to continue giving back more to the community.

We're looking for volunteer roles in Socials/Community Management and Visual Design for campaigns and events. This VOLUNTEER ROLE can be done remotely, from anywhere in Ghana.

You'll be working 3-6 hours/week. On your time.

Responsibilities

Socials and Community

- Create campaigns and analyse content on socials (Instagram, X and Youtube)

- Manage community groups through conversations online (Telegram, Whatsapp)

- Plan community initiatives and host community dialogues.

Visuals and Design

- Produce visual concepts for social media posts (flyer design, digital media and illustrations) - Design with FOF brand kit on Figma. - Brainstorm and design concepts for community programmes.

Skills & Experience

- Experience with Tally is a plus

- Hands-on experience with no-code tools (Make, Zapier, Airtable, Notion) is great

- Experience with customer support and support systems is an advantage
