Hired someone perfect on paper, but not in practice 

I might be invited for a job trial within 2 weeks, with terms and conditions clearly defined and agreed upon in advance. During the trial, I’ll work on real tasks and address the company’s actual needs to showcase my abilities. If I don’t meet the requirements, the trial will end, and the company will move on to other candidates. However, if I succeed, I might be pleasantly surprised to discover that I’ve demonstrated exceptional talent in a short time and the company benefited from hiring fast. 

I might spend 1 to 6 months (or more) waiting to be called for a position. This includes waiting for recruiters to screen my resume, schedule an interview with me, and evaluate me based on what I say and what’s written on my resume, without seeing my actual performance. The process could involve multiple rounds of interviews, assessments, and even a job offer that I might refuse. Only if I accept the offer will I be onboarded.
