Curatorial Ethics - BIPOC Curator Survey
We are creating a space for
Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC)
archives and special collections' curators to discuss professional development, inclusivity, and ethical stewardship.
Gathering qualitative data on the work practices of BIPOC curators and people who perform curatorial duties (even if "curator" is not your institutional title) is a first step in our process.
This survey is intended to be an asset-minded conversation, focusing on strengths and potential, while surfacing and acknowledging obstacles.
The survey is anonymous, though we do ask for your email at the end if you'd like to be contacted about the next conversation summarizing findings and potentially participating in a spring forum. If you'd more more comfortable
not
adding your email to the survey, but want to be on our mailing list, please email your contact info/express interest via a separate email to
[email protected]
.
The survey will close at 11:59pm EDT, Friday, October 4th
.
Please share the survey link with any BIPOC curators you know who would like to help inform this work.
Thank you for participating!
