Full-Stack Engineer (Senior Role)

Lumif.ai is building an AI-native operating system for enterprises, powered by a network of intelligent agents. We’re starting with revenue operations - helping teams automate lead engagement, follow-ups, qualification, and deal progression - while reducing admin overhead and freeing people to focus on high-impact work.

Why Join Us

- Backed by World-Class Investors: We’ve successfully raised $2.15M from top-tier VCs including Neon Fund, Milemark·Capital, Peak XV (Sequoia India), Meridian Ventures, and leading angel operators. This gives us the capital and runway to move fast, experiment boldly, and scale with confidence.
- World-Class Team: The founding team consists of Harvard, MIT, and BITS Pilani grads, with deep experience across business, product, and ML. Our CTO had a successful exit as a founding engineer at his last startup.
- High Ownership, High Impact: We're early, and every engineer has a direct hand in shaping the product, the architecture, and the user experience. If you want to build for scale while it’s still small this is it.

What you'll do

As a senior engineer at Lumif.ai, you’ll collaborate closely with the CTO and founding team to build the foundational systems powering our AI agent platform. You’ll lead initiatives across backend, frontend, and platform infrastructure with high ownership and autonomy.

Responsibilities include:

● Designing and implementing distributed, scalable backend systems for agent orchestration, inference routing, and long-term memory

● Developing core platform components including knowledge graphs, vector search, and agent memory pipelines

● Building extensible developer interfaces such as APIs, SDKs, and plugin systems

● Shipping full-stack features end-to-end using React/Next/Vite and Node/TypeScript

● Rapidly prototyping and iterating with the product team to ship experiments and core features

● Driving engineering quality via code reviews, test automation, and performance monitoring

● Setting technical direction, making architecture decisions, and mentoring junior engineers

Skills & Experience

4–6 years of professional experience in software engineering (minimum 4 years required) ● Strong proficiency in TypeScript (Node.js and frontend frameworks) ● Proven experience designing and scaling distributed systems or service-oriented architectures ● Full-stack engineering skills with modern frontend tools (React, Vite, Next.js, or Svelte) ● Must be hands-on with code, with a track record of individual ownership of complex systems ● Strong product thinking and hacker mindset - comfortable with ambiguity and 0→1 build cycles ● Excellent communication skills - able to clearly articulate complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders ● Experience shipping production systems in a high-velocity or startup environment Additional qualifications that will help you stand out include... ● Experience with LLM toolchains (LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen, etc.) ● Familiarity with RAG, prompt engineering, or hybrid inference pipelines ● Experience with real-time systems, event-driven infra, or Kubernetes-native architectures ● Interest in building developer platforms, extensibility frameworks, or plugin ecosystems
You're pragmatic and business-oriented: You care about the business impact of what you're building, and you understand the balance between craft, speed, and the bottom line.
You put users first: You think critically about the implications of what you're building, and how it shapes the user experience.
