Then you’re exactly who we’re looking for.
STEM Up is a student-led nonprofit based in Qatar, and we’re building a Social Media Team to help us document, amplify, and energize our mission of making STEM more accessible to high school students.
You’ll work alongside a team of ambitious students who run national events, workshops, and speaker sessions—and you’ll be the one turning that impact into content people actually want to watch.
What we’re looking for:
-High school or university students in Qatar
-Experience or interest in filming/editing short-form video (Reels, TikToks, etc.)
-Available to help cover 1–2 STEM Up events per month, and create one high quality reel per week
-Able to work in a team to brainstorm, plan monthly content (8 video proposals, 4 will be selected)
-Passionate about STEM, education, and creativity
-Responsible communicators (you actually reply to messages, and we dont have to chase you)
-EXCELLENT time management (you don't ask for extension each time)
Bonus: strong at graphic design, captions, or already run your own content page
What you’ll be doing:
-Filming and editing content from STEM Up events (talks, workshops, etc.)
-Creating reels that are both educational and fun
-Helping develop monthly content calendars with the team
-Pitching creative ideas to increase engagement and reach
-Making STEM content cool
