Welcome! We’re thrilled to invite you to Gear’s House Gaming, a unique initiative to empower passionate game developers by incorporating cutting-edge web3 and blockchain technologies.

What is Gear's House Gaming Series?

Gear’s House Gaming is a 4-month in-person program that takes you through every step of game development, from design and mechanics to graphics and blockchain technology integration.

Program objectives

-Understand the fundamentals of game development, including design, mechanics, and programming.
-Develop practical skills in smart contract programming, with a focus on gaming applications.
-Learn how to integrate blockchain elements into games, from tokens and NFTs to smart contract logic.

Why participate?

This course is completely free, but it requires full commitment from participants to complete all sessions. You won’t just gain essential skills—you’ll also have the chance to publish your own video game on the Vara Network Testnet or Mainnet!

How to apply?

Registration is now open and will remain available for the next few weeks!

Program Details:
Start Date: February 2025
End Date: June 2025
Session Frequency: Once per week (every Thursday)
Session Duration: 3 hours
Time: 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Requirements        

-Full commitment: Attend all program sessions.

-Basic programming knowledge: A foundational understanding of coding is required.

-Game publication: Participants must commit to publishing a game on the Vara Network (Testnet or Mainnet), either individually or as part of a team.

-Location: Must reside in Mexico City or have the ability to attend weekly in-person sessions at Gear’s House.
