Communications and Marketing.

As a volunteer in the Communication and Marketing department, you will work alongside the Head

of Department and a team of other volunteers.

Roles and Responsibilities

● Perform tasks as per the department’s day-to-day activities.

● Participate in drafting of the communication and marketing strategy.

● Monitor news and trends in core 4040 implementation areas and create conversation around

it.

● Develop creative and engaging marketing campaigns to promote the organization’s products

and overall goals.

● Actively conceptualise, facilitate and produce content and creative interactive features for the

website and social media platforms.

● Collaborate with partners towards achieving the organization’s goals.

● Monitor progress on volunteer communication strategies and adjust accordingly.

● Continually maintain and upgrade communications skills, keeping abreast of emerging

platforms and tools, and systematically reviewing media impact results and other

measurement tools for learning purposes.

● Work in collaboration with other members of the 4040 team.

● Be a 4040-brand ambassador in word and in deed.

● Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience

● Commitment towards achieving the department’s goals.

● Excellent computer skills.

● Experience in the following is an added advantage: graphic design, copywriting, editing,

content management, photography, video editing and data presentation.

● Excellent communication and organizational skills.

● A willingness to learn and work with a team of different people from diverse backgrounds.

● Effective time management.

● Creativity and innovativeness.

● Excitement about 4040’s mission and a deep desire to make an impact on learning outcomes

in vulnerable and underserved communities.
