Food, water, medical supplies, and survival equipment are life-saving essentials and must not be weaponised in any circumstances. Yet, Israel is blocking these critical supplies from reaching Gaza, and therefore, exacerbating an already catastrophic humanitarian crisis.
This is a man-made crisis.
According to a recent report by Al Jazeera (April 25, 2025),
UN’s food stock in Gaza have been completely depleted due to Israel’s ongoing blockade (

his deliberate obstruction has triggered famine - children are starving, the sick are left to die, and entire communities are being erased. This is a blatant violation of international law and basic human dignity.
As of 31 May 2025, UN has declared that Gaza is the '
hungriest place on Earth'. How long more can the people of Gaza sustain? Without immediate action, our hands are equally bloody. What does this say about us as a nation? As humans?
As your constituent, I urge you to represent our humanity and justice:
- Publicly condemn the blockade,
- Push for immediate humanitarian access,
- Support sanctions until aid flows freely, and
- Call for an permanent end to Israel’s aggression and genocidal action on Palestinians.
