Thank you for your interest in becoming a Mentor for Enrichment Programme 2022/2023!
The Enrichment Programme is a fully funded Development Programme which brings together a dedicated close-knit community of clinical expertise, mentorship and educational support designed to help Final Year Medical Students succeed.
You will be paired with a final year medical student mentee to give them a better understanding of what is needed in the transition from medical school to foundation years.
All mentors must be:
- Willing to commit to the mentoring scheme for the duration of 10 months
- Enthusiastic and passionate about creating spaces for medical students
- Dedicated to exploring issues that may be tailored to the African and Caribbean experience within medical school and the foundation years
- Reliable and punctual
- Good communicators (i.e. listening and speaking)
Applying to the programme does not guarantee you a place as this depends on numbers overall. We will, however, accommodate as many volunteers as possible.
