Interview Recruitment Form

Are you familiar with the Collections as Data initiative? Do you share its principles, using them as a source of inspiration or embedding them in your working practices? Would you like to discuss the challenges posed by Artificial Intelligence to heritage collections in the form of data?

If so, we invite you to participate in an interview for our research on "Ethical ‘Collections as Data’ Stewardship in the Age of Artificial Intelligence". Your insights could significantly contribute to understanding and addressing these emerging ethical concerns.


About This Form

This form is used to recruit participants for our research study, which aims to explore ethical considerations and stewardship practices in the creation, curation and circulation of collections in the form of data, particularly in the context of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Research Goals

Our aim is to gather diverse perspectives from professionals working with collections in the form of data, to identify common challenges, and to understand what is considered ethical data stewardship in the age of AI.

Project & Credits

The research is conducted by Giulia Osti, a d-real/SFI-funded PhD candidate at the University College Dublin, School of Information and Communication Studies, under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Amber Cushing (University College Dublin) and Prof. Suzanne Little (Dublin City University).
This research has been identified as a low-risk level study and has received clearance from the UCD Office of Research Ethics (reference no. HS-LR-24-223-Osti-Cushing). The research has the financial support of the Science Foundation Ireland Centre for Research Training in Digitally-Enhanced Reality (d-real) under Grant No. 18/CRT/6224.
