Revisors

Revisors at ELL are the quality gatekeepers of our clients' translations. So they have a very big responsibility.
Revisors at ELL compare translated texts to their source language making sure 1) the meaning of the source was correctly translated 2) the translation is free of grammatical and spelling errors and 3) the translation reads like an originally written text (not like a translated text).
ELL's revisors also check if the translator respected all the specific instructions of the client let it be in terms of editorial guidelines, terminology or other requirements.

Editors

Editors at ELL elevate existing texts stylistically to a higher level. They have a critical eye for clunky constructions or heave sentences. They cut, delete and re-write until the result is simply nice to read.
(They don't compare translations to their source, that would be our reviewers' job).

Proofreaders

Proofreaders at ELL contribute to excellence by perfecting the smallest details of our texts. They eliminate all spelling mistakes, typos and provide perfect punctuation.
(They don't compare translations to their source, that would be our reviewers' job).
