Operations Data Clerk

As an Operations Data Clerk, you’ll be right at the center of our logistics engine — tracking and recording container movements with speed and precision. Our data team handles and verifies over 60,000 container moves each year, ensuring every shipment is accounted for, every report is accurate, and every client stays informed.


This is more than data entry. Your work powers real-time decisions, keeps operations running smoothly, and helps build trust with our partners across the region.


We’re looking for someone with sharp attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the endurance to work long shifts, including weekends and holidays, in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. If that sounds like you — we’d love to have you on board.

Responsibilities

- Record all container movements (inbound, outbound, and internal) accurately and in real-time.
- Maintain up-to-date inventory records and ensure data matches physical stock.
- Prepare and share daily, weekly, and monthly reports with management and clients.
- Coordinate with yard, gate, and operations teams to verify container activity.
- Track container dwell times and report overdue or idle units.
- Ensure all data is entered correctly into systems and remains audit-ready.
- Support operational teams with documentation and general admin tasks.
- Communicate clearly and escalate any data or operational issues promptly.
- Follow all company procedures and maintain confidentiality of information.

Skills & Experience

- High school diploma or equivalent (Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a data entry, logistics, or operational support role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, filters, pivot tables).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work long hours (up to 12-hour shifts), including weekends and public holidays.
- Physically able to sit or stand for extended periods and handle repetitive tasks with focus.
- Fast learner with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
