TUM Venture Labs Software & AI Office Space Application Form

Apply for the first batch of the Venture Club (which we had to officially rename to "TUM Venture Labs Software & AI Office Space"), our early-stage startup safe space. Located at Königsplatz, and available from August 2025 our concept is simple:
Founder Safe Space: The space is only open to member founders. No delegations, no bureaucrats, no externals are allowed entry. The members are supposed to talk openly about issues and work on real progress. Get rid of the pitch mode and into the grind.
Growth Community: The Venture Club is a community of founders that trust each other to speak hard truths and to jointly learn. The members decide on new members and advancing the community.
We are looking for early-stage founder teams that work on hard problems and currently are between concept phase and first 10k€ of revenue. We are looking for those who are looking to make the best out of the community and develop their tech to new breakthroughs, their business to 100k€ in revenue or to get a significant first funding round after six months.
Read about our concept here.

Tipps for your application

Be concise. Clear, short answers are easier to digest and prove that you know your field. We advise writing 1–2 sentence answers where possible.
Avoid jargon. Assume reviewers are intelligent outsiders; use plain language.
Use data when possible. Concrete numbers (user counts, growth rates, revenue) provide evidence of traction.
Honesty trumps hype. All of us make mistakes all the time, exaggerated claims erode trust; honest answers matter more than perfection.
