HVAC Apprentice - Job Application

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our 12-week HVAC Apprenticeship program. This immersive learning opportunity is designed to take you from a complete novice to a junior-level HVAC specialist through hands-on, in-the-field training. Working alongside experienced HVAC technicians, you'll gain practical exposure to all aspects of the trade – from customer service and project management to installations, servicing, and repairs. This isn't just book work; it's real-world experience you can't get anywhere else.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Shadow and assist experienced technicians during the installation, servicing, and repairs of residential, commercial, and industrial A/C units • Assist with routine maintenance tasks to learn proper system care and operation • Observe diagnostic procedures and troubleshooting of system malfunctions • Learn about refrigerant handling, including recharging levels and checking for leaks
• Participate in energy-efficiency upgrades, such as installing smart thermostats or sealing ducts • Develop customer service skills by observing client interactions and eventually assisting with explaining procedures
• Learn to create custom quotes and manage customer service inquiries
• Maintain accurate records of all jobs and service calls • Request feedback as necessary from senior HVAC professionals to accelerate your growth and understanding of HVAC best practices and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older • GED or high school diploma required
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen • Experience working in any skilled trade preferred, but not required

• Ability to work in extreme temperatures (both hot and cold environments) • Capability to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs.) • Comfort working in confined spaces • Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
