Our Women’s Ethnic Network (WEN) has been in existence since 1978 and it has been supported by The Ethnic Communities Council of QLD (ECCQ) the peak body for multicultural communities in Queensland. WEN works to bring together women from culturally diverse backgrounds to identify gaps and opportunities for collaboration and leadership across Queensland. WEN’s strategic plan supports ECCQ’s strategic goals of Advocacy, Influence and Representation, and Strong Resilient and Connected Communities.
