Responsibilities

- Responding to patient and provider inquiries via phone, email, or chat in a courteous and professional manner
- Scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming patient appointments
- Assisting with insurance verification or eligibility checks as needed
- Providing information about clinic services, policies, or procedures
- Processing requests for medical records, referrals, or authorizations under client guidelines
- Documenting all interactions accurately in client-provided systems (e.g. EMR, CRM)
- Handling patient complaints or concerns, escalating when necessary
- Following HIPAA, privacy, and data security protocols at all times

Qualifications

- Senior High school graduate (required); college level or graduate (preferred)
- Prior BPO / call center experience for at least 6 months (healthcare account preferred but not required)
- Excellent English communication skills β€” verbal and written
- Strong customer service orientation, with empathy and professionalism
- Comfortable working with computers, CRM/EMR systems, and standard office software
- Ability to work night shift, weekends, or US hours (as required by client)
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet work environment
- Typing speed: 40 WPM minimum (preferred)
- Experience with HIPAA or data privacy standards is a plus.
- Prior experience in a healthcare BPO account, insurance call center, or medical clinic is an advantage.
