REQUIREMENTS ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Please check off each item to confirm you meet the requirements.

Active & unrestricted RN license

Minimum of 2 years of experience in infusion therapy or related field

Valid CPR/BLS Certification

Proof of Liability Insurance. If you do not yet have liability insurance, you may obtain coverage through ➡️ https://www.nso.com/Get-a-Quote. The cost is approximately $115 per year.

Reliable transportation to patient homes/facilities

Willingness to undergo a background check ($85 payment if you don't have a current criminal background check completed within the last 3–6 months)

Ability to work independently in a home care setting

SKILLS CHECKLIST

Check all skills you are confident and experienced in.

Infusion & IV Therapy Skills

Peripheral IV insertion & maintenance

Central line care (PICC, port, CVC)

Pump setup and troubleshooting

IV medication administration (antibiotics, biologics, IVIG, etc.)

Safe handling & storage of infusion medications

Patient/caregiver infusion education

Monitoring for infusion reactions and emergencies

Additional Nursing Skills

Proficient in IV and Port Insertion

Patient assessment & vital signs

Documentation & care coordination

Wound care & dressing changes

Emergency response (e.g., anaphylaxis management)
