National Youth Organisations Survey

A national survey to understand who is organising youth-led projects, what challenges they face, and how we can better support them.

Kia ora! Thanks for taking the time to fill out our survey, we’re really glad you’re here.

At Gen-Z Aotearoa, we’re building a strong, connected network for youth-led movements across the country. To do this well, we need to hear from organisations like yours about what’s working, what’s missing, and how we can better support rangatahi to grow, thrive, and create lasting impact.

This survey gathers insights from youth-run groups nationwide so we can develop tools, resources, and opportunities that truly fit your needs and kaupapa. Your answers will help shape a network designed by and for young people, focused on the real challenges and possibilities you face.

We’ll ask about your organisation, the support you need and the obstacles you encounter.

Your responses are anonymous and will only be used to improve Gen-Z Aotearoa’s support and to influence how youth organisations are resourced across Aotearoa.

Most of the questions are not mandatory. The survey should take about 15–20 minutes.
