LUMS Adventure Society invites you to escape into the snowy paradise of Rattu, nestled in the breathtaking Astore Valley, for an exhilarating skiing experience. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned skier, this trip promises unforgettable memories, thrilling slopes, and spectacular views.

Tentative Detailed Itinerary:

Day 0 – Departure from Lahore:

7:00 PM: Meet at LUMS and kickstart our exciting journey to the mountains.

Pre-departure: Luggage loading, formalities, and quick orientation. Get comfy, grab your snacks, and meet your fellow adventurers as we drive into the night!

Day 1 – Drive to Chilas

10:00 PM (Day 0): Refreshment stop at Bhera. Stretch your legs and refuel.

12:00 AM: Arrive in Islamabad and welcome more participants.

2:00 AM: Catch a glimpse of the sunrise as we drive through the Hazara Motorway toward Abbottabad.

8:00 AM: Breakfast in Besham – a perfect start to the day with hot parathas and chai!

3:00 PM: Arrive in Chilas, surrounded by the mighty mountains of the Karakoram Range.

Afternoon: Check into the Panorama Hotel, relax, and savor local cuisine.

Night: Group icebreakers and a mini bonfire at the hotel. Overnight stay in Chilas.

Day 2 – Towards Rattu

9:00 AM: Depart from Chilas for Astore, where the snowy landscapes begin to unfold.

12:00 PM: Switch to jeeps for the thrilling off-road ride to Rattu. Experience breathtaking mountain vistas on this 1.5-hour drive.

1:30 PM: Arrive at the Rattu Ski Resort! Settle into the cozy accommodations and enjoy a hearty lunch.

Afternoon: Orientation with expert skiing instructors. Get your gear, learn the basics, and hit the slopes!

Evening: Enjoy mesmerizing sunset views, relax by a bonfire, and share stories under a star-filled sky.

Night: Overnight stay at the resort

Day 3 – Skiing

Mornings: Begin with a warm breakfast, then dive straight into skiing lessons. Both beginners and advanced skiers will find the experience exhilarating.

Afternoons: Free time for snow play, photography, or short treks to explore the picturesque surroundings.

Evenings: Group activities (Skiing,Zip-lining, Rock Climbing), bonfires and stargazing to wind down after the action-packed day.

Night: Overnight stay at the resort

Day 4 – Start of the Return Journey

Morning: Begin your day with some practice runs on the slopes. Afternoon: Depart from Rattu and return to Astore via jeep. Stop for lunch in Chilas and settle into the hotel to relive the trip's highlights with your fellow travelers.

Day 5 – Final Leg of the Journey

7:00 AM: Depart for Besham, leading toward Abbottabad.

12:00 PM: Quick Stop at Abbottabad – enjoy the last bit of mountain air.

3:00 PM: Stop at F11 in Islamabad for KFC!

5:00 PM: Begin the final stretch back to Lahore.

10:30 PM: Arrive at LUMS, ending an unforgettable adventure.
