Volunteer Opportunities in MidTown 2025

Hello!

Thanks so much for your interest in volunteering with MidTown! 🎉 We’re excited to have you on board.

We’re currently looking for volunteers in the positions listed below, take a look and sign up for what works best for you.

Personal Details

Events:

September 2025

Glowing with PRIDE 5K

September 1st–3rd (Flexible hours): Help with event prep! Tasks include printing signs, putting together awards, and assembling medals for participants.

September 4th (Estimated 5–8 PM): Early registration for runners at The Emerson.

September 5th, 5:00–6:00 PM: Event set-up crew, help put up A-Frames, wayfinding signs and set up the registration area. You’re welcome to stay later and assist with registration if you’d like. (Please select the registration option below if you can stay for help with that)

September 5th, 5:30–9:00 PM (ish): Registration + event support crew, we’ll need several people to help register guests, direct participants, and hand out medals at the finish line.

Is there anything we should know to help make your volunteer experience great? (Like if you’re only available for part of a shift, have a buddy you want to volunteer with, or anything else!)

Welcome Center Volunteer Hours

We’re excited to launch this new volunteer position! Perfect for students or anyone who wants a flexible, low-key way to support MidTown while hanging out at Reno Public Market.

What you’ll do:

• Open/close the Welcome Center

• Greet visitors & share info about MidTown

• Sell retail items

• Answer questions and hand out materials

• Enjoy the space! (Use the computer, read, study or do homework)

Available Shifts

Welcome Center Volunteer Hours

Monday: 6-9pm

Tuesday: 6-9pm

Wednesay: 6-9pm

Thursday: 6-9pm

Friday: 6-11pm

Saturday: 11am - 11pm (we’ll work with you to pick hours that fit your schedule)

Sunday: 11am - 9pm (we’ll work with you to pick hours that fit your schedule)
