Pivot Points practitioner interviews

Hey there — thanks for your interest in sharing your experience for the Pivot Points audio series. This is a 5-episode narrative podcast hosted and produced by Oshan Jarow, and supported by the good folks at Waking Up.
Below are a few intake questions. Logistics permitting, I'll reach out via email with scheduling options afterwards.
If we do schedule an interview, I'll provide more information on what to expect, but you should know that I won't be publishing our full conversation. Just short audio snippets, alongside others, woven into a narrative. Which is to say, these conversations don't need to be polished. We can just have a relaxed talk about the weirdest and most intense moments of your meditation practice. It'll be fun.
Here's a few working definitions of what pivot points actually are:
— Inflection points in meditation practice that transform a meditator’s sense of what’s possible through further practice.
— Experiences that help convince people that meditation might actually be worthwhile (or the other way around, experiences that convince you to stay away from meditation).
— "Oh shit" moments.
Lastly, please note that there is no financial compensation for participating. Just my gratitude, and contributing to the public understanding of meditation. So please only respond if you're willing to spend 30 minutes speaking with me. Now, just a couple of questions about you (should take 2 minutes):

What's your name?

How many months or years have you been meditating, and primarily in what styles/traditions?

Have you experienced a 'pivot point' in your meditation practice? Please give a *short* description. We'll cover details during the interview.

Are you okay with audio snippets from our conversation, including your name, being published in the final podcast?

In the event that I convince myself some kind of video is necessary to appease the Gods of Engagement, are you open to recording video as well?

(This is not mandatory, but it will be helpful to gauge preferences up front).
