WHO WE ARE Estamos Unidos de Pennsylvania (EUP) is a Latino/Hispanic organization, our mission is to empower our community through education, arts, traditions, and cultural values to encourage personal growth and enhance leadership.
PURPOSE OF OUR SCHOLARSHIP The EUP Scholarship is intended for enrolled students in a technical, vocational, or post-secondary education. Students who qualify has been established as motivated and talented leaders and reside in the state of Pennsylvania. Eligible Applicants: EUP announces the availability of scholarships for technical,
vocational, or post-secondary education learners. The scholarship fund is primarily for
Latino Hispanics students, but it is open to all learners in need of educational support
funds, which will be applied to the recipient’s accounts for tuition, fees, books, and
miscellaneous expenses.
Awards for 2025-2026 will be $1,000 for full time or $500 for part-time students. Required Scholarship Documents 

1. High school seniors OFFICIAL/UNOFFICIAL high school Transcripts OR if applicable GED OFFICIAL scores. Current COLLEGE student’s OFFICIAL college academic transcript including 2024 spring semester grades. 2. A recommendation letter from a guidance counselor, professor, or community leader NOT a family member NOR a friend. 3. Complete online application for FAFSA, the Federal Government Financial Aid document at www.fafsa.gov to calculate financial need. Use the most current year of federal taxes. - Once complete, use the Estimate Financial Contribution (EFC) number for EUP application. 4. Fall 2025 Class Schedule - Undergraduate College Students – provide evidence of registration or attach a copy of your class schedule for Fall 2025. - Seniors in High School - attach a copy of your admissions letter and your class schedule for Fall 2025. If you do not yet have a class schedule for Fall 2025 to attach to the required packet you must provide evidence that you will be actively enrolled for classes in the Fall 2025 before the Scholarship Committee meets to deliberate. 5. A typed essay outlining each bullet below using 12pt. The essay should describe briefly, but specifically, the following: - Reasons why you are the best candidate. - Reasons why education is important to you. - How this scholarship money would assist you in pursuing higher education? - Where do you see yourself five years from now? - What are your future personal and academic goals? - Reasons why you chose to attend this university. __________________________________________________________

Section 5: Release of Personal Information and Scholarship Agreement

I hereby give permission to EUP Board, EUP Education/Scholarship Committees, pertinent employees, and to mentors who will coach and/or guide me as needed to access my:

1) academic records,
2) information provided through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA),
3) financial aid award letter
4) email & home address, phone numbers (cell & home) 5) contact me as needed.
If I should be awarded a scholarship but withdraw from the university/college voluntarily or otherwise before the end of the term, I authorize the Financial Aid Office of the institution I attend to return the scholarship money to EUP. If I withdraw or stop attending the institution before the end of the term, I understand that I could owe funds to the university/college I attend or to EUP. I agree to abide by the scholarship requirements. All information offered is true and correct.
*IF AWARDED A SCHOLARSHIP FOR THE NEXT ACADEMIC YEAR, I COMMIT TO VOLUNTEER WITH EUP A TOTAL OF TEN (10) HOURS . HOURS CAN BE COMPLETED AT EUP RECOGNIZED EVENTS.*

Section 6: Authorization for the Financial Aid Office to Release Information

To Student: Complete this section and submit it to the College/University/Vocational/Technical School Financial Aid office you are attending or plan to attend in the Fall of 2025.

If you would like the financial aid verification page to you, provide that office with a self-addressed stamped envelope. Otherwise, you are responsible for picking up the form at their office. Politely ask when it will be ready. (This section must be submitted with the applicants entire application to EUP by JULY 15, 2025).

Thank you for taking the time to complete the EUP 2025-2026 Scholarship Application! The Board of Directors will be reviewing all applications after the July 15th deadline and notify recipients of application decisions by the end of August 2025.
