We are looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented undergraduate students from a range of different disciplines to join our team and gain valuable research experience conducting cognitive neuroimaging research using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
Undergraduate students in the Neuroinformatics and Brain Connectivity (NBC) Lab may contribute to one of several ongoing projects. Some students help with
participant recruitment and enrollment, while others help with
surveys and MRI data collection. Students with coding experience may contribute to more advanced
data analysis projects.
MRI data collection includes assisting with adult and child participants at FIU’s Center for Imaging Science. As this necessitates extensive training, undergraduate research assistants (RAs) should be able to commit to at least three semesters with the lab, for a minimum of 10 hours per week.
