***If you are getting a piece by Emma please note, she is still apprenticing and learning. Her rate reflects where she is in her apprenticeship. If touchups are required it is encouraged to have Emma touch up her own work for learning purposes. If you require Shannon to touch up the piece you will be charged a $50 setup fee.*** Both artists - If touch-ups are needed they must fall within a 6 month window of the original tattoo. Artists are not responsible for "free" touch ups of any tattoo where the after care instructions were not followed.

*If you are wanting your tattoo on your hand, foot, elbow or knee a $50 fee will be charged if a touchup is required at a later date* These are known as problematic areas for solid healing as they get a lot more daily abuse than other body parts. SOMETIMES they heal without any issue, but touchups are not uncommon for these areas (sometimes several, depending on the person).

When can I expect to hear back?

Thank you for your interest in getting a tattoo from us! We typically respond to requests at the beginning of every week on Sunday or Monday. We'll respond directly to you via email and offer you a handful of possible dates to get tattooed. We'll accompany that with an approximate quote on how long we expect it to take and how much we expect your tattoo to cost. 

If you accept any of the dates we send you, a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $100 is required to hold the date. This will come off the cost of your final tattoo session. You'll have 24 hours to place a deposit after dates are offered. After 24 hours the dates will be made available to other clients. Tattoo dates do not get held without a deposit.

Please note that a deposit may be withheld if an appointment is rescheduled less than 48 hours, if excessive amendments to a custom design are requested(often designing is done on personal time and can take longer than the tattoo itself), or if the appointment is rescheduled more than once, and they are valid for 6 months. 

When should I expect to see my design?

When booking with us we assume you have chosen an artist from the work you have seen. You are trusting us to make something uniquely wonderful for you. You can expect to receive your custom design the night before/morning of your appointment.

For more extensive designs such as very large pieces or cover ups, a date can be set up a few days ahead of the appointment to receive a rough concept of the design.


How much do you charge?

Shannon's rate is $160/hr, Emma's is $75/hr, flash pieces are priced at a flat rate and are usually somewhat reduced as they are pre-designed and ready to go.

We accept cash and e-transfer as methods of payment.

Gift Certificates, like deposits, are non-refundable. They can be used like cash in the studio (or for your deposit). Gift Certificates will expire 1 year from purchase date unless stated otherwise.

What should I do to prepare for my tattoo appointment and what should I bring?

Leading up to your appointment, it's helpful to stay hydrated, moisturize, and exfoliate the area. If you plan on being out in the sun prior to your appointment, be mindful of sun exposure. If you are sunburnt, peeling or if you have broken skin you cannot be tattooed until the skin has healed.

For the day of the tattoo, make sure you have something to eat at some point before the appointment. Please stay hydrated and moisturize. It doesn't hurt to bring a drink and something to snack on if need be.

Please dress comfortably for the session and keep in mind the area being tattooed needs to be easily accessible.

We are located in a basement unit and it can sometimes be chilly. A sweater is always a good idea and slippers are encouraged as you will be asked to remove outdoor footwear.

If you are a new client, please be prepared to provide government-issued photo ID. It must be current, have a photo, and include your date of birth.


What is your cancellation policy?

We require a minimum of 48 hours notice to reschedule an appointment. If you cancel, or reschedule within 48 hours of your appointment, your deposit is lost.

If you no show, you will have to place another deposit for a new appointment

If you show up day of with any symptoms of a cold, flu, or transmittable illness, your appointment will be cancelled and you will lose your deposit (this includes sunburnt or peeling skin). You will have to reschedule your appointment and pay a new deposit. We don't want to get sick and your body needs to focus on healing.


Can I bring anyone to my appointment?

We're all for morale support so we don't mind if you bring a friend, as long as they are not interfering with the tattoo process.
