The UK's departure from the European Union is one of the biggest events in the history of our country. Its result is causing huge changes to our economy, society, foreign policy and partnerships with the EU and other nations.
Over the next year we at the
Independent Commission on UK-EU Relations will investigate the outcome of leaving the EU and the impact of the Trade and Cooperation Agreement.
Working with business, academia, think tanks, civil society, politicians and members of the public we will seek to understand what changes have occurred and their impact.
We will develop and propose practical and realistic solutions for any problems that we find.
We will recommend changes which could be made to the TCA which would if implemented improve outcomes for the UK and EU. These recommendations could be adopted in the review of the TCA planned for 2025.
We welcome input and submissions from all sectors of society. Please contact us if you have views which cannot be easily expressed in this survey.
