Helllooo!
We are so glad you're thinking of joining ByteClubđź’›
Before you dive into the questions, here’s what to expect from ByteClub Cohorts and a few notes on how to fill this form.
ByteClub Cohorts is a 3-month program made for coders at any skill level, where small, diverse teams of high school students build real-world software for nonprofits and community organizations.
• You’ll work in a team of 5–6 students.
• You’ll make something that actually matters.
• You’ll learn by doing, not just watching tutorials.
• You’ll leave with skills, stories, and impact you can be proud of.
Note: Currently open to high school applicants from Lucknow only.
We ask for about 3–4 hours per week (team meetings, check-ins, independent work).
• Weekly check-ins: short meetings with your team + organizers.
• Biweekly workshops: skill sessions you’ll actually use in your project.
• Independent work: you’ll have tasks to move the project forward.
We get it — school comes first. If you’ve got big exams or major conflicts, just let us know early and we’ll adjust. For example, end of September-November is exam season for many — that week will be lighter.
The only thing we ask: communicate with us.
• Only questions marked with * are required.
• No word/character limits. Write as much or as little as you like — just try to show us the real you.
• Take your time. Submissions are reviewed on a rolling basis, but if you want to be considered for the Fall Cohort, the deadline is: October 9, 2025 at 11:59 PM IST.
• Answers don’t need to sound “formal” — passion, honesty, and personality matter more.
This isn’t a test. We’re not looking for perfect resumes. We’re looking for curious, motivated people who want to learn, build, and create impact with others.
So, be yourself. Show us what excites you. And let’s make something awesome together.
