Product Merchandising

Hi! My passion for building better products is immense. In fact, I'm so enthusiastic that I dream of wearing t-shirts, displaying posters in my workspace, sipping coffee from a mug, or having a sticker on my laptop, all featuring Product concepts that fill us with pride. Yet, there seems to be a scarcity of such items.

That's precisely why I've teamed up with Fran Molina to create Product Merchandise that we can truly cherish. Our aim is to craft designs that resonate deeply with us as product experts, while also being stylish and attractive for everyone to appreciate. We're focused on developing ideas that appeal not just to those in our field, but also to the wider audience.

We're eager to hear your thoughts on these concepts. We want to decide which ones to refine into our final designs for production and sale. So, tell us, which concepts capture your heart and would you consider purchasing?

Make it happen

The squiggle in this design symbolizes the dynamic and often unpredictable journey of bringing a great product to life. It's a reminder that the process isn't straight or simple; it's a complex tangle of ideas, rapid explorations, and swift iterations. Each loop represents a challenge overcome, each twist a lesson learned. And as the squiggle straightens out towards the words "Make it happen," it reflects the clarity and direction that emerge from the chaos.
This design celebrates the resilience and creativity of product professionals, recognizing that although the path isn't always clear, their determination and ingenuity will ultimately "Make it happen!"

KISS

This striking design is a visual ode to the 'Keep It Simple, Stupid' (KISS) philosophy, capturing the essence of a seamless partnership between the Product and Engineering teams. The gentle curves gracefully embody the fluid, innovative approach of the Product team, while the sharp-angled rectangle fits like a puzzle piece, representing the precision and solidity that Engineering brings to the table.
This minimalistic yet powerful imagery illustrates the concept that the heart of a product is nurtured by unity, with each team contributing essential pieces to complete the puzzle. It's a celebration of simplicity, function, and the beauty of working together towards a shared goal.

The Devil Is In The Details

In any product evolution, multiple paths unfold before us. Our mission to discover the root causes of the challenges we face is symbolized in this design through the creation of an Opportunity Tree. It stands as a metaphor for growth and complexity in problem-solving. The execution, though, is where success is truly defined, for it's the subtle specifics that achieve the outcome—the 'devil in the details'.

This captivating image cleverly doubles as a mask, crafted from the Pythagorean fractal tree—an emblem of both mathematical beauty and the branching decisions of product development. Look closely, and within the fractal's pattern, you might glimpse the hidden devil, a reminder of the critical importance of precision and attention to detail. This design doesn't just represent a concept; it invites viewers to delve deeper, to look beyond the surface where the crucial and delicate details reside.

Product Trio

This design is a vivid celebration of synergy, where the spheres of Product, Engineering, and Design blend into a striking composition. Here, the traditional Venn diagram is reimagined with a human touch, transforming circles into interlocking heads that signify the people power behind every successful collaboration. It's a visual manifesto of the sweet spot of innovation, where the collective expertise of these three domains culminates in products that are not only well-engineered and user-friendly but also aesthetically captivating.
The human silhouettes emphasize that at the core of every technological advancement and design breakthrough are individuals working in tandem. The overlapping areas shine with new colors, illustrating the fresh perspectives and novel ideas that emerge when the Product Trio—representatives from each domain—come together. This design doesn't just represent the intersection of skills; it celebrates the fusion of minds and the essence of teamwork that propels holistic product development forward.
