How we work

We’re social. Very social. A big part of our culture is Twitter. After all, Rug Radio started on Twitter Spaces. Twitter is where many of our creators host shows, where Farokh spends hours of his day, and where we, Rug Radio, host our weekly Town Halls.

We’re decentralized – in ways you might not expect. Our team moves fast and sometimes we have to choose the right medium for conversations. Sometimes those conversations happen on Slack, through text, on the phone, in Discord, on Zoom…you get the point. If this paragraph stresses you out, we might not be a good fit!

We’re worldwide. This is a 100% remote role. We are a fully remote team based in the U.S., Canada, and Australia. For this role, we welcome applicants from anywhere as long as the hours you choose have several hours of overlap with the East Coast US and Pacific US time zones.

The job

Rug Radio is looking for a Head of Partnerships to identify and develop strategic relationships on behalf of the RugDAO. You will work directly with a range of companies across different sectors ranging from startups to Fortune 500 brands. You will be responsible for bringing a unique web3 perspective to how Rug Radio does partnerships.
Below are some of the key elements of your role. As we are just getting started, there will be things we don’t expect within the fast paced nature of the ecosystem, so consider this the fundamentals of the role and the rest we will figure out together!
What you will be working on...
- Responsible for managing all inbound business and collaboration opportunities across a wide range of partners.
- Responsible for identifying innovative, creative and engaging ways to work with new and existing partners to drive value for them and Rug Radio.
- Manage and ensure the success of existing partnerships: You will take over existing partnerships and manage the success of these relationships.
- Work cross-functionally with teams to develop & deliver partner solutions.
- Deliver regular updates on partnership progression, metrics, and general ROI on partner initiatives.
- Work cross functionally and internally on PR and content opportunities with partners.
We are looking for someone with……
- 3+ years experience in partnerships or business development.
- Experience working with high profile clients and working enterprise level deals.
- Understanding of the NFT space and web3 culture.
