Why Campaign 195 ?

Campaign 195 asks one woman in leadership, from every country on earth, the same question.

"Why do capable women in leadership, still hesitate sometimes, to raise their hand and speak up?"

While freedom of speech for women can vary around the world, several studies including KPMG and Gallup show that hesitation to speak one's mind seems to be universal.

63% of young women hesitate to speak up, for fear of the way they MIGHT be perceived. Intelligent.com

DailyAI also reports that women only make up 12% of AI researchers and contributors worldwide. This means the lived experience of women is not being woven into what we receive back from AI chats.

At the highest leadership levels globally, the distribution is still significant: 90% men and 10% women.

195 responses will be analyzed to uncover the patterns behind hesitation and clarify what is structural, not personal.

If the world is to truly benefit from different perspectives, this and the future generations of women must raise their hands, share ideas, ask tough questions and challenge norms.

Leading with confidence begins with courageously speaking up, before we feel confident.

Your participation will especially encourage young women to speak their mind by learning through the perspectives of our global sisterhood.

The goal is to create a white paper and bring the results to the UN for the benefit of emerging women on leadership and implement practical solutions. Additionally how do we bridge this with men?

Who is Vicki Tyler, creator of Campaign 195?

Vicki is passionate about uplifting emerging women in leadership. She is a mother of two sons and is a dual citizen of New Zealand and the USA. After high school, she backpacked on a 5-year work holiday, where she experienced what she calls the "University of Life".

In her early twenties, two near-death spinal injuries meant she found a spark that drove her towards discovering what life could look like when living fearlessly. Her career led her to the USA as president of a struggling startup, which she used tools she now teaches to turn it around.

She earned a Graduate Diploma in Applied Psychology to understand if science backed up all the mental skills she had used for decades. Now she speaks on stages globally, hosts empowerment workshops for women and looks forward to sharing the results for Campaign 195 during IWD 2027 and beyond. vicki@vickityler.com
